Steel on Concrete

Side table made for Adorno Design Gallery. The geometric cone shape of the concrete base meets the thin round steel tabletop in what become a minimalistic sculpture. The shape of the base creates an illusion of the steel top only being held in the small hole in the center. In reality, the base is supporting the thin tabletop much more, two create a functional piece of furniture.
