FERO

/ 2016

The FERO table is made from solid wood and a cast iron bracket, which can easily assemble all parts of the table in a strong construction. The idea is to highlight the inborn material quality of cast iron – the strength and the beauty of a natural material. The low technology of sandcasted iron is both sustainable as it uses recycled scrap iron and is easily adapted to bigger production.

The soft curved shape of the FERO table is designed with the aim of creating a furniture collection based on the cast iron detail in combination with solid wood.

The project is created in collaboration with Jonas Edvard.
